Indian anyone?

With a Bollywood inspired theme, cheap tickets, amazing snow and blue skies forecast now is the time to get off the computer, jump in the car, drive to the snow, turn around and realise you forgot the kids, get the kids, go to the snow.......you know what I'm saying. Its darn good up here at the moment so just do it......

BB has close to a metre of snow on the ground, 5/7 lifts turning and awesome snowplay etc.

St G has cracked a metre up at the rock shelter and with 40cm at the car park......why would you ski up to the Rock Shelter? Its all good.

Chains expected today but remember ALL vehicles must carry them until the end of the declared hazardous season (currently Sept 30th)

7cm more.....

That's right, an epic week just got another 7cm bringing totals to close to a metre. Just a few days ago I was getting excited because we had nearly half a metre.

Anyway as it stands Baw Baw has 97cm man made, 72 cm natural. Rumours abound that ALL lifts will be turning (7/7) The whole village is rated EXCELLENT for skiing, boarding, tobogganing and snowplay. It simply does not get better.

St Gwinear has 40cm+ at the car park. Excellent tobogganing and snowplay, Amazing skiing and donuts at Anthony's van. Rangers in attendance. This will not get better, so come on up and enjoy the spring conditions

MORE SNOW

That's right.................................MORE SNOW. UN.....FLIPPINBELIEVABLE

Baw Baw has recorded another 13cm of fresh snow in the last 24 hours bringing this up to epic levels. There is an average natural snow depth of 70cm. Man Made areas are up to 93cm and theres 5 lifts turning. Absolutely everything is rated excellent.....

St Gwinear has 35cm at the car park without any top up overnight but I am confident they have been topped up too. I will post a total on Facebook as soon as the rangers call it in. Both toboggan runs open. Excellent skiing from the car park......

Exceptional, superb, amazing, stupendous.....

Baw Baw has 56cm average for natural snow and 80cm in man made areas. 5/7 lifts......Im not gonna write much cos no-one is reading it anyway......

ST Gwinear has heaps of snow......35cm at the car park. 2 toboggan runs open excellent skiing

POWDER DAY

OVER HALF A METRE OF SNOW. Absolutely amazing conditions on both mountains after another 16cm overnight plus the snow guns were fired up. Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort is serious about snow and with current conditions, zero crowds (literally 20 people on mountain yesterday and 10 of those were just drinking coffee, quoted by a return customer) you'd be mad not to chuck a sicky or book in the weekend. Currently 55cm natural, 79cm man made, 5/7 lifts, $35 tickets. Mt St Gwinear has amazing conditions. Both toboggan runs open, excellent skiing from the car park.

Powder day

The forecasts were right with 13cm of fresh dry powder falling in the last 24 hours......and there's still heaps more to come with predictions of snow as low as 400m. Currentlt Baw Baw has 45cm natural and 69cm man made. 5/7 lifts AMAZING conditions out there today.

St Gwinear will have about 20cm at the car park. 50-60cm up top. Expect excellent fresh snow for cross country skiing

Fitting chains today.......

Incoming snow alert

HUGE totals predicted with a thumping great low pressure system hovering around for the next 5 days bringing snow down as far as 400m in parts (according to predictions). Snow has begun to fall at Baw Baw overnight and looks set to continue.

So far 2cm fresh snow has helped maintain averages after a warm start and rain yesterday. 37cm natural and 61cm man made, 5/7 lifts turning and 2 toboggan runs open. Fitting chains at chain bay 2. Please follow advise of signs and fit as directed.

St Gwinear still has enough snow for the kids and cross country skiing. Will update totals via facebook and Instagram after Parks staff call it in.

A week of snow expected should top things up nicely just in time.

As it stands

Baw Baw Has 37cm natural ave. 61cm man made ave. 5/7 lifts

ST G should have 8-10cm at the car park. Both toboggan runs open at his stage but expect one to be shut due to poor cover. Will update if conditions change

Another beauty

Not much change from yesterday with total much the same.

Baw Baw has 40cm average natural depth, 64cm man made. 5/7 lifts. 2 toboggan runs open and very good snow play.

St Gwinear has 15cm at the car park. 2 toboggan runs open. St'G Food van and Parks vic staff on site.

Huge totals being thrown around for snow fall early next week will keep spring conditions excellent (if they come true)

Spring????? Who cares

With 40cm natural average depth 5/7 lifts and 64cm man made in key areas Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort doesnt care that spring has sprung. Heaps in the forecast as well so spring snow is going strong.

Mt St Gwinear has 15-20cm at the car park, 2 toboggan runs open as well as Parks staff, Donuts at St G' Food Van and excllent skiing plus it looks likely to get more snow in a couple of days with freeze levels down as low as 800m it just keeps getting better
