Time for a snow dance

Baw Baw has been busy pumping cover onto Frosti hollow for some awesome looking toboggan conditions. Looks like about 30cm which should get them through the weekend. The average depth at BB is 24cm with 59cm in man made areas. They have 5/7 lifts running and the sun is shining.

St Gwinear has 6cm at the car park. 33cm average depth meaning good to very good skiing up top on consistent coverage. North and South toboggan runs are CLOSED but the middle play area is suitable for tobogganing. Food van, Parks office and toilets are open

Pinch and a punch for the first of the month

Welcome to August, traditionally the best month of winter, with higher snow falls and colder temps expected.

Currently St Gwinear has 10cm at the car park. North and south toboggan runs open. Good cover on the middle play area and suitable for little kids tobogganing. Good to very good skiing across the top with an average snow depth of 40cm

Baw Baw currently has 26cm average with 6/7 lifts turning. Temporary toboggan run open on Big Hill and most areas are groomed.

More fresh snow overnight

Another 3cm of fresh snow overnight at Baw Baw adding up to 30cm average depth. They have 6/7 lifts turning and 59cm in man made areas. Big Hill is set up for toboggans today allowing Frosti Hollow some maintenance works.

St Gwinear has 12cm at the car park. Both toboggan runs open. Good to very good skiing across the top with an average depth of 40cm. No food van today but Parks Vic staff will be attending. 

Little top up

Another dusting of snow overnight has added to the totals.

Currently St Gwinear reports 13cm at the car park with an overall average of 41cm. Both toboggan runs, Parks Vic office and toilets are open. No food van until Friday so pack a picnic lunch.

Baw Baw has 29cm average depth. 6/7 lifts turning and a temporary toboggan run at the bottom of Big Hill. The usual restaurants and pubs open for some tasty fuel to keep you going all day

Snow expected

Snow this afternoon so if you don't like putting on chains get up and back early.

Currently St Gwinear has 12cm at the car park with all facilities including both toboggan runs open. 40cm average depth across the top and Tullicouty and Main trail are marked

Baw Baw has 22cm on average with 59cm in man made areas. 5/7 lifts turning and don't forget a priority lane for pople carrying wheel chains as to lessen the queue

All lifts open

Baw Baw has all lifts running this weekend. An average of 24cm across the resort plus 59cm on Hut Roll thanks to the snow crew. 

St Gwinear has 18cm at the car park with all facilities open. 41cm average. Tullicouty and Main trail have the poles marking the way and the best little donut van in Australia is supplying hot food and drinks. 

Forecast says a top of 7 degrees and sunny. Its gonna be a cracker

Much the same as yesterday with blue skies and a good solid freeze overnight maintaining level.

Baw Baw has an average of 26cm and 5/7 lifts turning.

St Gwinear has 20cm at the car park. All facilities open including the food van. Good skiing on consistent hard cover. Groomed on main trail.

Blue skies

Another stunner in the mountains today and with 23 cm at the car park for St Gwinear and both toboggan runs open with consistent cover across the trails for x country there are no excuses to NOT chuck a sicky. Half a metre plus up at Rock Shelter.

Baw Baw has 26cm average and with 5/7 lifts and Frosti open for toboggans. You wont have to line up today with nobody around

Tertiary Tuesday

Tertiary Tuesday at Baw Baw means students ski for cheap, saving important dollars for noodle cups and petrol. No more sacrificing the fine things in life as a student so get on up today.

Amazing conditions with another 2cm falling during the night. Currently 28cm average depth at Mt Baw Baw and 5/7 lifts turning.

St Gwinear has a beautiful 15cm at the car park with both toboggan runs open. Good skiing on all trails with consistent cover from the car park. No food van today but all other facilities are open.

Baw Baw has amazing conditions with a 20cm average depth. 6/7 lifts turning and with a top of 2 and partly cloudy conditions it will be epic.
