Absolutely puked at Baw Baw last night with another 16cm on the ground so far and its not finished yet. Totals so far are -

Baw Baw 46cm natural. 56cm man made. 5/7/lifts. 15/17 runs. 2 toboggan parks and cross country trails open

St Gwinear has at least 40cm at the car park after 20cm of fresh snow overnight. FITTING ALL VEHICLES. PLEASE NOTE *****Their fitting 4wd sign was stolen so they have put out the fitting 2wd sign but require ALL VEHICLES TO FIT****** Both toboggan runs open.

Awesome conditions

Baw Baw reports 36cm of natural snow across the resort today with 5/7 lifts turning, both toboggan runs open and excellent snowplay and tobogganing. 46cm of man made snow in key areas and a chance of snow this afternoon

St Gwinear has 20cm at the car park, and average snow depth of 38cm across the top and softening snow for the x country skiers. Both toboggan runs are open as well as Anthony at the St G Food van for hot chocolate and donuts

Seasons best again

Baw Baw and St Gwinear both got a few flurries of snow yesterday just to keep it fresh but without net gain so totals are the same as yesterday.

St Gwinear has 25cm at the car park. Both toboggan runs open. Very good cross country skiing on a groomed main trail. with 45cm average depth.

 

More snow

Overnight Baw Baw picked up 6cm of fresh dry snow. Totals are on average 36cm natural, 46cm man made. 5/7 lifts turning and both toboggan parks are open. Excellent snowplay and sightseeing and fitting chains at time of report.

St Gwinear has 20cm+ at the car park, excellent tobogganing and cross country skiing and likely fitting chains.

 

AMAZING

I was up at Baw Baw yesterday and it really is amazing. The snow is excellent. 5/7 lifts turning today and an average 30cm natural snow depth with 40cm of man made in key areas. Both toboggan parks are open and have good cover for the little kids.
St Gwinear has and average of 40cm (between car park, Jeep track and Rock shelter) with both toboggan runs open and excellent cross country skiing.

 

Another 5cm

Things are at seasons best today with another 5cm in the last 24 hours and blue skies forecast all day

Baw Baw has 38cm natural, 48cm man made. 5/7 lifts operating plus tobogganing on Frosti and Frantic parks. Snowplay and sightseeing is excellent.

A late night trip last night revealed 20+cm at St Gwinear car park. Excellent skiing and tobogganing on both runs.

Another cracker

Both mountains are still coated in white. 35cm of natural snow at Baw Baw and 20cm at St Gwinear car park. 50cm at the rock shelter for cross country skiers.

BB has 5/7 lifts and 45cm average man made depth. Both toboggan runs open and excellent skiing, boarding, snowplay and sight seeing. Snow guns have been blazing overnight and the groomer has been doing its thing all night.

Just keeps getting better

Another 10cm at Baw Baw in the last 24 hours according to reports. Totals are 35cm of natural. 45cm man made. 5/7 lifts turning and snow making is in progress. Blue skies and perfect snow. Both toboggan runs open. Excellent snow play and sightseeing.

St Gwinear has 20+cm at the car park. Both toboggan runs open. The donut man (Anthony -) will be selling hot goodies and Parks rangers are on the mountain.

Baw Bawhas been hammered over the last 24 hours with 23cm of fresh snow falling bringing the average depth to 29cm. There is 41cm in key areas and they have 5 lifts turning today (Hut, Tank, Summit, Maltese and Carpet) meaning 11 runs and lots of space on the mountain to perfect your turns in the fresh stuff.

Cross country trails have 24cm for the sker or snow shoer.

All toboggan runs are open.

Snow on approach roads to resorts meaning chains are being fitted today.

St Gwinear will have all facilities operating today with excellent skiing, tobogganing and snowplay

Good snow overnight and still snowing with temps expected to stay low throughout the day. Freeze level down to 600m at times expected so plenty more snow left in the system.

Currently Baw Baw has gained 11cm overall so far. Lifts to be assessed at 9am but at the moment 3/7 operating.
